Serving up Thanksgiving Dinner to Those in Need

Giving back to the community is part of the Starwood DNA, and the Thanksgiving holiday gave Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel employees an opportunity to donate part of their day off to serve a meal to Denver's homeless.

Employees from the Sheraton and sister property The Westin Denver Downtown were joined by Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin to serve a Thanksgiving meal to more than 200 people in need. The dinner was prepared under the direction of The Westin Executive Chef Jean-Luc Voegele and Samaritan House Executive Chef Dave Uelze, and was created as a SuperFoods menu including traditional Thanksgiving favorites such as turkey, walnuts, broccoli, apples and beans as well as a SuperFood secret - dark chocolate.

We are truly thankful for Denver's giving spirit, especially when it comes to helping those in need.
