Starwood recently announced a new live music program for Starwood Preferred Guests called “On Tour with SPG: Hear the Music, See the World.” The promotion consists of notable bands performing in, DJing at, or attending parties inside Starwood hotels – all for the enjoyment of SPG members. (See what I mean? You’re totally missing out if you’re not a member!)
All nine of Starwood's brands (W, St. Regis, Aloft, Sheraton, Le Meridien, Element, Luxury Collection, Four Points, and Westin) will each get their own special music event, though only the first four have been announced. These are:
- Jamie Cullum performance at St Regis Bal Harbour (May)
- Free tickets and an appearance by Daughtry at Aloft Dallas Downtown (June)
- Bend Folds Five performance at Westin TImes Square (October)
- DJ set by Rob Garza of Thievery Corporation at W Santiago (November)
As for the rest of the dates, just sit tight – they’ll be announced soon!
And if listening to live music – for free – wasn’t good enough, Starwood is also the main global hotel sponsor of Live Nation, which means SPG members could be eligible for fun things like artist meet-and-greets, backstage passes, and tickets to other Live Nation events around the world. Pretty cool, right?
