Stop us if you’ve heard this one before while on vacation: “Mom, I’m sooooo bored!” Sound familiar? If you have kids, it probably is!
Thankfully, some hotels are trying to help mom and dad salvage any bit of sanity left while traveling with the entire brood by introducing new activities, programs and menus for the younger Millennial generation. A recent article in USA Today outlines some of these kid-friendly offerings: from “teen concierges” they can text or friend on Facebook and special menus to spa treatments and themed getaway packages. Those offerings and more are being implemented by brands in order to build loyalty at ANY age. Because if kids are happy, parents are happy – and a happy parent will remember where and when their kids stopped complaining!
Have you (and any Millennials living in your household) taken advantage of similar programs or offerings on a recent vacation? What did you think?
