We recently received some nice feedback from Accuvant, who hosted their Annual Company Meeting for more than 500 employees at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, Jan. 22 – 25.
Accuvant’s internal team worked with the Sheraton for more than nine months to plan the event, returning to the venue after four years due to the our space and availability in addition to our flexibility and willingness to work with the event planner every step of the way – a necessity due to the projected event attendance starting out at 250 and blossoming to more than 500 over a couple of months due to company growth!
Said Karen L, the executive assistant to the CEO and the event planner, “The Sheraton was extremely flexible working with us to change our meeting space and needs. Many hotels won’t do that, but the Sheraton stepped up and helped us every step of the way. We had nearly 200 break-outs during the event, and Gloria was incredible making sure the groups were taken care of and our meeting space was maximized. Gloria’s colleague Stephanie, in charge of meals, was fabulous to work with – very attentive and accommodating. We also tried the online booking system for the room blogs, and it was a seamless, easy process. When we needed to add more rooms at the last minute on-site, Melissa took care of our needs promptly and efficiently. From a production standpoint, it was the smoothest meeting we’ve ever had – and that had a lot to do with the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel’s employees and staff. It was truly refreshing to work with a hotel as accommodating and flexible as the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, and we would return in a heartbeat.”
