Mmmmm….Girl Scout cookies. If you’re a fan like we are, then you’ll be thrilled to learn it’s completely acceptable to eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as anytime in-between.
Don’t believe us? Just ask our Executive Chef Scott Skomal, who stopped by KUSA 9 News with the CEO of Girl Scouts Colorado, Stephanie Foote, to talk about the “Thin Mint Dinner” – a fundraiser for the Girl Scouts held Oct. 23 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. More than 550 guests enjoyed three courses of Girl Scouts cookie-inspired recipes, including Savannah Smiles Salad; Tagalong Chicken with Polenta Cake, Roasted Tomato and Vegetable Julienne; and Brown Butter Sable Samoa Cookies with Dulce De Leche and Coconut Samoa Ice Cream for dessert.
You can find the recipes here if you’re inspired to try them at home. Enjoy! And don’t forget the thin mint martinis!
