We love compliments - who doesn't? Recently, we received a nice note from a colleague in the meetings and events sector, who made a point of singling out one of our group sales managers - Henry Hughes - for a job well done on providing assistance during her trip to Denver. Mark Major, our Director of Convention Services, also received a pat on the back for simply being "awesome." Keep up the great work, Henry and Mark! We love it when you make us look good!

Giving back to the community is part of the Starwood DNA, and the Thanksgiving holiday gave Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel employees an opportunity to donate part of their day off to serve a meal to Denver's homeless.

Giving back to the community has always been a part of the culture at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. So we were excited to participate in the “100 Women, 100 Shoes Challenge” in conjunction with O, The Oprah Magazine and Crocs, Inc. The best part was raising money for a local organization – the Ronald McDonald House – but we’d be lying if we said we didn’t love our new pair of Crocs shoes!
